Description
I made this for my friend Sarah.
There are pictures with and without a teapot. Also some pictures of it inside-out. I did the face with an applique stitch and I'm quite proud that it isn't visible from the inside.
The body was basically easy. I stitched a spiral until I got to the opening for the handle. Then I started going back and forth. Until I got to the buttonhole for the spout. Then I started alternating rows on both sides, using the both ends of the skein of yarn. When I finished the buttonhole I tied off one side and went back to alternating rows.
I started experimenting with a new technique for tentacles for this project. I think it will come in handy for my Vampyroteuthis infernalis, (lit. "vampire squid from 'Hell'") When I get working on that.
